Things I am building, writing, and thinking about.
I co-founded Beaver Builder, write about the web and life in public, and keep a handful of small sites around for experiments, local tools, photography, and ideas that need somewhere to live.
Selected projects
What I've been up to...
Some are polished, some are experiments, and some are intentionally small.
Beaver Builder AI
The big thing my team and I have been working on. Beaver Builder AI brings vibe coding to WordPress. Create and update pages by talking at your computer. Deliver easily editable websites to clients using the same Beaver Builder environment they're already comfortable in.
Art Direction Daily
A daily field report on agentic web design, with each issue researched fresh and redesigned in a different visual idiom.
Doodle A Day
One small doodle, every day. The marker-wielding sister site to Sketch A Day, with bold-outlined cartoons you can finish in ten minutes.
lab.robbymccullough
A workshop of playable, slightly strange one-page experiments — like mybbor.com, but for WordPress projects built with Beaver Builder AI.
Super Beaver World
A Mario-style pixel platformer — run, jump, and stomp wolves along the river to reach the dam. Built end to end with Beaver Builder AI.
Beaver Connect⁴
A two-player drop-four duel dressed in 8-bit NES style — a single-page app I built entirely with Beaver Builder AI.
Beaver Synth
A playable browser synthesizer where the whole page becomes the instrument — another one-page experiment made with Beaver Builder AI.
Sketch A Day
One small drawing, every day. Step-by-step pencil sketch tutorials that turn a blank page into a fifteen-minute creative ritual.
Beaver Builder
The WordPress page builder I co-founded with my friends Justin and Billy in 2014
mybbor.com
My name backwards. My gamertag. Where I host geeky projects and let AI do the talking for me. Prompt: 90s hacker movie alter ego.
robb.ee
A tiny hive for static documents. Home to Honeydrop - a lightweight, self-hosted drag-and-drop uploader that handles markdown and html files.
aprilfifteenth.com
A scroll-driven descent through the ocean toward the Titanic wreck site, built as a static historical piece.
FastLine Media
The product studio behind Beaver Builder and related WordPress tools.
Photo Portfolio
I love taking photos, and I share them on Unsplash, free, for anyone to use.
47fifth.com
A simple historical landing page for an 1890s Victorian home in Petaluma's historic A Street District.
Petaluma Photography
A photo-first portfolio for local Sonoma County work, travel images, and visual experiments.
Recent writing
What's on my mind...
From journals, photos, and yearly recaps to random thoughts, travel adventures, restaurant reviews, and whatever I feel like sharing in the moment.
My ergonomic peripheral setup
Going wireless with a split keyboard, a Loupedeck, and macro keys remapped for dictation.
Build a Let's Connect page with AI
A QR-code business card built with AI in a few minutes, plus the prompt so you can build your own.
Update to my personal blog
I have a head cold. I can't stop blowing my nose. It's mildly uncomfortable.
Travel lessons learned
Old travel notes brought back to the surface, including the useful, weird, and practical things that stuck.
Better Late Than Never
A photo-library-assisted year recap, with travel, family, work, and the pieces worth remembering.

Most of my attention is going into Beaver Builder AI, which is launching soon, and Art Direction Daily, a daily publication that reimagines itself in a new design direction each day.
My name is Robby, and I wear many hats - literally & figuratively.
I’m a new dad with a lifelong interest in design, marketing, entrepreneurship, investing, photography, good food, live music, coffee, and the occasional tinkering project. Most days, you’ll find me on a mountain bike trail, playing a round of disc golf, or out for a neighborhood walk with my family.
At Beaver Builder, I care a lot about marketing that feels laid-back, useful, and centered around the community. Lately, I’ve been exploring how agents can help people build better websites and get more done in their businesses. I’m drawn to web projects that feel personal, practical, and a little more handcrafted than the average landing page.
